FLORENCE – Nick Larareo consolidated fallen leaves, mostly oak, into a pile in front of his home on Tuesday to make it easier for a friend to haul them away. Larareo doesn't own any oak trees but owes his bounty to the prevailing winds and a large pin oak across the street.
