The Northampton and Granby baseball teams earned top seeds in the first Western Massachusetts tournaments in more than a year.

The Blue Devils are No. 1 in the 15-team Division 1 field, and the undefeated Rams lead the 14 teams in Division 4. Programs could opt in or out of the postseason, and all seeding was done by winning percentages. Coin flips broke ties. No power rating system was used.

Northampton (11-2) has a bye and will await the winner of No. 8 Chicopee and No. 9 Agawam for a 4 p.m. quarterfinal Monday at home.

Holyoke (5-6) earned the No. 10 seed and will play No. 7 Minnechaug (7-5) at 7 p.m. Friday night at Spec Pond. The winner of that game gets either No. 2 West Springfield (11-3) or No. 15 Ludlow (0-11) in Monday’s quarterfinals.
