As an octogenarian activist who can no longer march, I worked with my fellow cronies to initiate a national petition urging committed action on the part of the federal government to address the unforgivable crisis in affordable options for senior housing.

While my generation will not benefit from such federal initiatives, the next generation of elders will find themselves in an even more dire crisis than we are now if this issue is not made a national priority. I hope that your readership will care enough to sign this petition at change.org/ImproveSeniorHousing.
