I would like to thank Gazette columnist Susan Wozniak for writing an honest column in the July 26 Gazette [“Familiar faces a comfort in the fog of time”]. She touched on some of the many experiences and issues of women who, for whatever reason, find themselves living singly in their later years.

In the end, it is connection, sharing, and involvement that keeps us going.
