I’d like to know how I can publish a free campaign ad on your opinion page. I am not currently running for office, but seeing the Feb. 23 column “Reelect Fleitman and Stuart to Republican State Committee” — written by the two candidates for that committee  – it appears that space is available.

Being factual is apparently not a requirement. Fleitman and Stuart, after all, were able to state that “the mass media giants clearly worked to tip the presidential election” in 2020 — when the fact is that voters decided that election. Focusing on issues doesn’t appear to be required either. This column was all about the candidates, with a few partisan talking points about “cancel culture” and “illegal immigrants” thrown in.

Will we be seeing free campaign ads from other parties on the opinion page before Super Tuesday?
