Susan Grant: Remove Trump

Donald Trump needs to be removed from the presidency. Not on Jan. 20, but right now. He has incited violence against our government — the government he heads, and attempted a political coup.

He has lied to the American public about the election, and countless other things. He has corruptly used his office for financial gain.

I am sorry for all those who voted for him in November and who still believe in him. As someone who has worked for many years in the consumer protection field I know how skillful con artists can be in manipulating people to act against their own interests, and I have to say that he’s one of the best I’ve ever seen.

It’s time, however, for Trump supporters to realize that he has been ripping them off. And it’s time for the cabinet to step in and remove him from office, as his actions on Wednesday have made crystal clear how dangerous he is. We simply can’t risk entrusting our country to him for one day longer.
