Stan Pollack: A trip to the store

Published: 3/16/2020 3:23:43 PM

There once was a woman whose name was Mona

Went shopping for food but came home with corona

She tried to stay healthy, she was very clean

And always very cautious if you know what I mean

But things got real crazy and people were scared

’Cause on any surface some germs could be shared

On door knobs and faucets on tables and chairs

Where ever got touched the virus was there

It was sneaky and tricky and ubiquitous too

It could get on your hands your clothes and your shoe

So when Mona came home from her trip to the store

She washed her hands quickly not three times but four

So if we are wise and do what she did

We’ll probably not get number 19 Covid.
