Dennis Golas: 2021 a chance to build country back

Well, here we are, January 2021, with two final sign off’s to 2020. The election sign off by Congress, and the runoff election in Georgia to decide the final two Senate seats.

Much of America is looking forward to positive changes in 2021 and to see better hope for our country and fellow Americans, as we enter into the year more optimistic with the new administration changes in Washington.

Americans have endured enough sacrifice for a lifetime in 2020. With a year, nothing short of every meaning of the word “challenging.” But through these sacrifices and challenges, the citizens of our great country learned to survive in many different ways, which in some ways brought our country closer together than some might think.

To have maintained a feeling of hope and belief this past year is what America is all about. Things to consider as we look at this new year. A reminder of the basic principles of life, and the phrase, “do onto others as you would do onto yourself.” If we expect to change our viewpoints on treating others with respect and fairness, we all need to put in the efforts to build our country back up to a better place for all Americans in which to live.
