I read the Feb.24 story regarding the state DPU proudly proclaiming a 5% reduction in Eversource gas bills starting in March. I have to say I was quite underwhelmed by the amount of the reduction.

Then things got worse. My most recent bill arrived in the afternoon, and it showed an increase in the supply rate, which amounted to a 17% increase from the previous month. This increase was set on Feb. 2, so the story should have included that. Fake news? Misinformation? Well, not exactly. Just a story that didn’t tell readers the whole story.
