Noah Scanlon-Dean struck out eight over six innings as the Hopkins Academy baseball team heads into the postseason following a 10-4 win over Lee, Wednesday in Hadley.

Liam Higgins (2-for-3) had a two-run-double in the regular-season finale.

Jon Morrison (RBI) and Jack Feltovic (RBI, run) each had two hits for Hopkins (14-4).

Franklin County Tech 10, Smith Vocational 2 — Will Mollison, Tom Doyle and Nathan Mollison each had one of the Vikings’ three hits in the road loss. Dana Kellogg and Aidan Pike each scored a run.

Sam Bobala (three RBIs, two runs) was 4-for-4 for the Eagles.

Softball

Easthampton 12, Amherst Regional 0 (5) — Rachael Robinson (two runs) struck out 10 and walked three over five innings for the visiting Eagles (16-4, 10-0 Suburban League).

Adele Cousland stuck out seven in the loss.

Smith Vocational 20, Renaissance 7 — Serenity Roznovsky (six RBIs) and Emily Start each had two hits for the Vikings (9-11, 9-5 Tri-County).
