Lindsey Wenzel was one hit away from her first career no-hitter, but her effort was more than enough as the Granby softball team beat Palmer 19-0 in five innings to qualify for the postseason at home.

The Rams (10-9, 5-5 Bi-County East) were 3-7 at one point, but a six-game win streak over nine days got them back in the postseason picture.

Wenzel struck out eight and walked two. She allowed only a third-inning single up the middle.

Julia Gauvin got the 15-hit parade started with a leadoff home run. She finished 3-for-4 with four RBIs and a double.

Kaeleigh Croteau matched Gauvin except her solo homer came in a 10-run fourth inning.

Paige Parlengas was 2-for-3 with three RBIs, while Bella Bonavita (RBI) tripled and scored twice.

Turners Falls 1, Hampshire Regional 0 — Raiders pitcher Jocelyn Mettey threw a no-hitter, but Hampshire fell in its regular-season finale.

She struck out six and walked four. She also went 1-for-3.

The Thunder scored their run in the fourth inning after Aly Murphy walked then stole second. An error brought her around to score.

Katie Baker (walk) and Bri Sulikowski singled for the Raiders (15-5).

Easthampton 9, Frontier Regional 1 — Rachael Robinson struck out 11 and didn’t walk any, as the Eagles won on the road. She also drove in a run.

Tyler Evans (RBI), Nick Cirone (double, run) and Sean Doherty (RBI) had two hits each for the Tigers (4-15).
