Hannah Wodecki bombed a two-run homer and added a double as the Hampshire Regional softball team beat Chicopee Comp, 8-2, Friday in Westhampton.

Jocelyn Mettey went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Raiders (2-0).

Gateway Regional 29, Westfield Tech 3 — Every player recorded a hit in the Gators’ route. Ava Auclair (6-for-6) led Gateway (1-1) while pitcher Nicole Hannigan helped herself by going 4-for-4.

Frontier Regional 10, Belchertown 3 — Olivia Vecellio went 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs to lead the Red Hawks (1-0). Natalie Denkiewicz also went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Emma LeBlanc (run, RBI) went 1-for-3 for the Orioles (1-2).

Chicopee 15, Northampton 8 — The Blue Devils’ 12 hits weren’t enough as the Pacers took control with a six-run fourth.

Calista LeBron and Katelyn Ramdath (two runs) both went 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Blue Devils (2-2), while Maya Williams and Marissa Badorini each scored two runs on two hits apiece.

Hopkins Academy 9, Putnam 4 — Maegan Quinlan struck out six, walked two and worked around nine hits for the win at Blunt Park in Springfield.

Izzy Palmisano, Gabby Palmisano and Quinlan each had two hits and two RBIs. Olivia Brighenti (RBI) also had two hits.

Easthampton 11, Mohawk 1 — Chelsea Indyk collected four hits, Olivia Downer had three, and Abigail McClafflin (two RBIs), Lauren Morse and Tessa Pond had two each as the Eagles (4-0) cruised on the road.

Rachael Robinson struck out 13, walked none and allowed four hits.

Sabis 12, Smith Academy 0 (5) — Amanda Novak and Keene Jeffress each had one hit, but the Falcons (0-1) fell on the road.

Mahar 25, South Hadley 2 (5) — Maddie Fontaine (two RBIs) tripled and doubled, Sarah Bisson doubled and Kate Kretchmar had a single, but the Tigers (0-3) fell on the road.

Smith Vocational 23, Pathfinder 6 — The Vikings scored 18 runs between the second and third innings to jump out to a 20-1 advantage.

Karlie Petlock and Emily Start each went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and a double for the Vikings (2-0).

Baseball

Smith Vocational 2, Westfield Tech 1 — Will Mollison struck out three, walked two and allowed two hits over five innings for the win. Race Drobiak fanned three and allowed two hits for the two-inning save.

Troy Barayon (run) had two hits, while Drobiak and Nathan Mollison (hit) each had an RBI for the Vikings (4-2, 4-0 Tri-County South).

Greenfield 8, Easthampton 0 — Nick Lloyd had two hits for the Eagles (1-2). Zack Kugler, Justin Colpack and Nick Jolicoeur each recorded a hit.

Southwick 4, Granby 0 — Carter White struck out, walked three and allowed two earned runs, but the Rams (1-2) couldn’t get much going on the road.

Josh White had two hits and Nolan Sullivan one.

Holyoke 10, South Hadley 2 — The Tigers scored first but couldn’t hold off the Purple Knights.

Nick Cirone (RBI) and Colin LaComb each scored and had a hit for the Tigers (0-2). Max Garvin (1-for-3) also had a hit.

Boys volleyball

Sabis 3, Smith Vocational 0 — The Vikings lost 25-8, 25-7, 25-8 as Tyler Top and Trevonte Moore had two kills, with Aman Ruhe, Eric Stoltz, Lukas Sturtevant and Tyrese Cordova (ace) adding one kill each for the Vikings (0-1).
