The Hampshire Regional girls soccer team defeated Chicopee, 5-1, on Thursday in Westhampton.

Jocelyn Salomao scored twice and added an assist to lead the Raiders (8-3-2, 5-3-1 Central).

Riley Shaughnessy, Katelynn Dunn and Brianne Salomao each scored once. Maggie Rubeck had three assists. Kayla Lukasiewicz had one assist and Katie Taylor had five saves.

South Hadley 5, Monson 0 — Paige Marjanski and Teagan Garwon each scored twice to lead the Tigers (15-0, 9-0 Central).

Madde Doolittle had one goal and an assist. Lindsay Marjanski and Emma Sanford each had one assist. Bridget Sears had six saves.

Granby 3, Southwick 2 — Kaeleigh Croteau scored twice to lead the Rams (11-3-1, 9-3-1 Central). Nora Young scored once and Julia Frappier had two assists. Julia Gauvin had 10 saves.

Agawam 3, Northampton 0 —Sydney Lewandowski had nine saves for the Blue Devils (1-10-2, 1-5-1 Kurty-Fielding).

“From the first half to second half we are bringing more energy,” Northampton coach Vanessa Butynski said. “We had opportunities, just didn’t find the back of the net.”

Palmer 7, Holyoke 2 — Jaden Rodriguez and Amaya Oliverio each scored once for the Purple Knights (2-10-1). Abby Glasheen had one assist. Glasheen also had nine saves.

Boys soccer

Smith Academy 1, Granby 0 — Ryan Herlihy scored the lone goal in the 55th minute to lead the Falcons (7-5-3) in Hatfield. Sam Dadmun had the assist. Ryan Belina had four saves.

Dominic Nomakeo had 10 saves for Granby.

Southwick 3, Holyoke 1 — Marcus Tennesaca scored the lone goal for the Purple Knights (3-7-2). Adam Stevenson had the assist.

Pathfinder 3, Smith Vocational 2 — Aiden Illingsworth and George Ndreu scored for the Vikings (7-4-2, 5-0-1 Tri-County). Louis Kollmeier had seven saves.

Chicopee Comp 2, Frontier 1 — Connor Waitkus scored on an assist from Avery Tuttle in the third minute for the Red Hawks (4-7-2, 0-6 Moriarty). Nick Jarvis had two saves.

Frontier had 13 shots compared to five for the Colts.

Field hockey

South Hadley 2, Frontier Regional 2 — Bella Yee and Breann Foley each scored once for the Tigers (8-4-1, 3-3-1 Valley). Corryn Moroney had one assist. Kaitlin Lynes had seven saves.

Emily DeMaio had two goals for the Red Hawks (11-2-1, 6-0-1 Valley). Olivia Vecellio had one assist. Skyla Burniske had four saves.

“It was a postseason-caliber game,” South Hadley coach Tara Cole. “Both teams passed and used the long ball well. We could have received the long ball better, but it worked well at times.”

Holyoke 1, Mohawk Trail 0 — Sai Winkler scored an unassisted goal to lead the Purple Knights. Cheyenne Dunn had 13 saves.

Agawam 3, Northampton 0 — Ella Moreau made 16 saves for the Blue Devils (0-9-1) in the loss.

Girls volleyball

Central 3, Smith Vocational 0 — Yanibel Agosto Flores had a kill and two digs in the loss, 6-25, 20-25, 10-25.

Amber Pensivy had a block, two assists and a dig. Hannah Yilmaz had a block, two digs and a kill. Alexandria Tourigny had two digs and a kill for the Vikings.
