  • Jack Czajkowski of Hadley cuts tobacco, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Plainville Farm in Hadley. He said he has been helping harvest tobacco on the family's farm since he was a boy. His brother, Wally, now owns the farm. Jack said it's a good crop of the Connecticut Valley broadleaf this year, which is used for making cigars. He works as a teacher at Greenfield Commonwealth Virtual School. They have been harvesting for more than a week and will continue for about another two weeks, depending on weather.
