HADLEY — Three jet skis, valued at between $17,000 and $19,000 apiece, were reported stolen from the dock area at Sportsman’s Marina Friday morning, according to Hadley Police.

Police Chief Michael Mason said Monday that the investigation began Friday at 9 a.m. when someone noticed the missing jet skis and is continuing with members of the Massachusetts Environmental Police.

The marina is located on Route 9 next to the Coolidge Bridge and the thefts likely too place sometime after 8 p.m. Thursday, Mason said. Another jet ski was stolen from the Northampton side of the Connecticut River during the same time frame.

Mason said officers interviewed potential witnesses over the weekend and are continuing to gather any surveillance footage that might be available to identify suspects.
