Paige Darby graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.


Elizabeth Ato was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Becker College in Worcester, where she is pursuing a degree in veterinary science, with a pre-veterinary concentration.


Angelina Delaney graduated summa cum laude from Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Connecticut.


Madeline Lenz received her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, where she majored in English.

Kristin Gross was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Eastern Connecticut State University in Willimantic, Connecticut. Gross’s major is health sciences.


Adam Mokrzecki, son of Paul and Carla Mokrzecki, received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He was enrolled in the College of Natural Resources as an environmental science major. Adam is employed by SWCA, a nationwide environmental consulting firm, in its Amherst office. He is a 2013 graduate of Hopkins Academy in Hadley.


Hatfield Elementary student Eleanor Donohoe placed second in the fifth-grade category in the Eversource Challenge student contest, for writing a letter to her parents challenging them to change their energy habits and become more energy efficient.

Eversource awarded Amazon gift cards to the winners in each grade.


Ben Preston, son of Pat and Deb Preston, graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering. He has accepted a position with Solar Turbines of San Diego, California.

South Deerfield

Amanda Calvo graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health from Colby Sawyer in New London, New Hampshire. Calvo was a member of the women’s basketball team.

South Hadley

Olivia Aldern received a bachelor’s degree from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Torri R. Lonergan was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, where she is a member of the class of 2020 and majoring in global and Hispanic studies. Lonergan attended Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School.


Lauren Aldrich was named to the spring semester chancellor’s list at Troy University in Troy, Alabama.

Colby College

Local students receiving degrees from the college in Waterville, Maine, include:

Luke Glynn-Ferrarone, of Amherst, who majored in history, attended Amherst Regional High School and is the son of Amy Glynn of Amherst and Stephen Ferrarone of Leverett; Patrick J. Dickert of Hatfield who majored in economics, attended Loomis Chaffee School and is the son of Frank Dickert and Diane Savino-Dickert; and Benjamin R. Schiller of Northampton who majored in government, attended Deerfield Academy and is the son of Heidi Schiller.
