PELHAM — The driver and lone occupant of a car was uninjured after the vehicle rolled onto its side on North Valley Road Monday night, according to Pelham police.

Police Sgt. Christopher Rice said Pelham and State Police officers responded at 8:55 p.m. to the single-vehicle crash, which appeared to be caused when the car hit a soft spot at the edge of the road.

An Amherst Fire Department ambulance was summoned to examine the driver, who didn’t need medical attention, Rice said.

The crash remains under investigation.
