SOUTH DEERFIELD — Community Involved in Sustaining Agriculture (CISA), partnering with Atlas Farm and Clarkdale Fruit Farms, is selling gift bags of locally grown and produced foods just in time for holiday gift-giving.

The new tote bag features artwork by Arielle Jessop and includes all kinds of items from local farms and food producers, according to CISA.

Bags must be ordered by Sunday, Dec. 13, at 5 p.m. for pickup at different locations throughout the Pioneer Valley on Saturday, Dec. 19. Items might vary slightly depending on availability at the time of order.

“We have really missed sharing local food with our supporters this year, having canceled our events because of the pandemic,” CISA Executive Director Philip Korman said. “We put together this gift bag as a way of sharing in the local harvest with our community, from a distance. Sales benefit the producers we’re sourcing from, proceeds will benefit CISA, and the bags make great gifts to friends and family, colleagues and neighbors, or even yourself.”

According to the release, there are two different bag sizes available, and they include items from Atlas Farm, Apex Orchards, Back Roads Granola, Bergeron Sugar Shack, Bug Hill Farm, Carr’s Ciderhouse, Clarkdale Fruit Farms, Effie’s Homemade, Fat Toad Farm, Kitchen Garden Farm, Mother’s Jam, Old Friends Farm, Pioneer Valley Popcorn, Stockbridge Farm and Taza Chocolate.

Small bags are $60 and large bags are $110. Small bags include maple syrup, chai masala mix, sriracha, oatcakes, jam, basil vinegar, barbecue sauce and apples, all in a small tote bag featuring Jessop’s artwork. Large bags include maple syrup, goats’ milk caramel, chai masala mix, sriracha, oatcakes, basil vinegar, jam, cinnamon Mexicano chocolate discs, raspberry shrub, popping corn, tomato puree, apple cider vinegar and apples, all in a large tote bag featuring her artwork.
