The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory warning beginning Wednesday at 7 p.m. until Thursday at 7 a.m.

The NWS is expecting mixed precipitation of snow, rain, and ice with total accumulations of up to two inches in western Massachusetts.

Roads will be slippery and there could be hazardous conditions impacting morning commutes on Thursday, according to the NWS.

Here is a roundup of local parking bans for Wednesday night:

Town officials are warning that vehicles in violation of the parking ban will be ticketed and towed.

In Granby, there is a parking ban starting at 4 p.m. on Wednesday until Thursday at 4 p.m. There will be no on-street parking allowed.

Parking on all city streets and in city parking lots is prohibited from 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m., except on Main Street, where parking is prohibited from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m.

The city is warning that those found in violation of the parking ban will be ticketed and towed. The Armory Street parking lot is open for overnight use during snow emergencies, except from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to allow for plowing.
