Wednesday’s prep schools: Williston girls soccer shuts out Wilbraham & Monson

Gabby Thomas of Florence scored a goal and Madison Fulcher-Melendy of Easthampton picked up two assists as the Williston Northampton girls soccer team blanked Wilbraham & Monson 3-0 at home Wednesday afternoon.

Caroline Wysocki had a goal and an assist, with Emma Lawrence adding an assist for Williston.

Alana Serafino stopped both shots she faced.

Academy at Charlemont 1, Stoneleigh Burnham 1 — Leah Finn-Erb (Northampton) scored on a penalty kick as the Aardvarks (7-1-2) earned the tie.

Academy at Charlemont 4, Four Rivers 2 — Claire Dileo (Cummington) scored twice and Emily Comeaux (Conway) had one goal as the Aardvarks won Tuesday.

Field hockey

Williston 8, Wilbraham & Monson 0 — Maddy Jerolman scored four times and Izzy Tegtmeyer (three goals, two assists) posted five points as the Wildcats (9-3) earned the blowout in Wilbraham Wednesday.

Jess Wendelken of Granby had a goal and an assist, Lauren Helm had two assists, and Meg Szawlowski (Leeds) added one assist.

Morgan Fogleman only needed to make a single save in the shutout.

Boys soccer

Wilbraham & Monson 1, Williston 0 — A single mistake in the second half led to the game’s only goal as the Wildcats (2-7-1) fell in Wilbraham.

Terry O’Brien made three saves for Williston.

Boys water polo

Choate 11, Williston 8 — David Fitch of Conway scored two goals for the Wildcats in the loss at Wallingford, Connecticut.

Calvin Frye led Williston with five tallies and Sitai Chen added one, while Noah DeVos made 11 saves in the loss.
