Weekend prep schools: Williston football blows past Gunnery to stay perfect

The Williston-Northampton football team won the Ogden D. Miller Cup with a 54-27 victory over Gunnery on the road Saturday.

Nick Garofano rushed for 233 yards and three touchdowns. Max Chipouras added 61 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats (3-0).

Kay made 17 tackles, while teammate Stephen Goldsmith had 12.

Girls Soccer

Williston 3, Berkshire 0 — Caroline Wysocki, Chloe Harris (assist) and Fiona Bundy each scored as the Wildcats (1-3-3) picked up their first victory of the season at home on Saturday.

Field Hockey

Williston 1, Berkshire 0 — Delaney Belinskas scored and Morgan Fogleman made five saves as the Wildcats (5-2) won at home Saturday.

Girls volleyball

Berkshire 3, Williston 0 — Lenna Phelan had one dig, two kills and three outside hits, while Katie Lucchesi chipped in with six kills and two assists but the Wildcats (1-4) were swept (25-12, 25-15, 25-9) on the road on Saturday.
