John Sinton, Gaby Immerman, Neal Bastek: Promoting the Mill River greenway

Last modified: Wednesday, May 21, 2014

To the editor:

We were pleased to read Jim Cahillane’s May 16 article on the Mill River, and it’s always heartwarming to hear river stories from long-time residents. The history of the Mill River is a microcosm of the history of much of America during its first 300 years, and we at the Mill River Greenway Initiative (http://millrivergreenway.org or MRGI for short) relive it every month during our Saturday riverwalks from downtown Northampton to the Williamsburg dam site. We urge you to join us and to contribute to our initiatives to bring people to the river and create a greenway from the mill’s source in Goshen to river’s end in Hulburt’s Pond.

Just drop us a line: info@millrivergreenway.org,

John Sinton
Gaby Immerman
Neal Bastek

The writers are MRGI co-moderators. This letter was signed by three other people.
