HADLEY GRASS — AND MORE

When it comes to seasonal vegetables, it’s hard to find a tastier one than asparagus. Hadley’s long been known for its fine crop, which will be celebrated (along with other local produce) Sunday at the Asparagus Festival on the Hadley Town Common. There’s much on tap, including live music, beer and ice cream tastings, children’s theater, yoga classes and more. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. connect.wgby.org/asparagus

ANOTHER GOOD BET

The Dance Generators of Northampton question the notion that professional dancing is the exclusive domain of the young and beautiful. Performers in the Northampton troupe range in age from 20s to 80s, with varying levels of experience. They present their annual concert June 5, 6 and 7, at 8 p.m., Scott Dance Studio at Smith College. dancegenerators.org
