Thursday's colleges: Paulina Solis scores 32 points as Smith basketball rallies over Clark

The Smith College basketball team closed the game on a 9-0 run to beat Clark 95-90 Thursday in Worcester.

The Pioneers (12-1, 7-0 NEWMAC) led by as many as 24 in the second half.

Paulina Solis had 32 points, six rebounds, six assists and five steals in 35 minutes.

Sydney Parkmond had 20 points and 15 rebounds, while Rosa Drummond had 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Devon Quattrocchi added 14 points, eight assists and three steals.

WPI 67, Mount Holyoke 54 — Amber Legare had 22 points and 10 rebounds but the Lyons (3-9, 1-6 NEWMAC) fell in Worcester.
