Angelica Pascual scores 1,000th career point but Mount Holyoke falls to Wellesley

Angelica Pascual scored 14 points, including the 1,000th of her career, but the Mount Holyoke College women’s basketball team fell 74-43 to Wellesley Tuesday.

Off the bench, Nicole DeMarchena of Amherst added two points, two rebounds and two steals, while Allison Slysz of Hatfield had four points and five rebounds.

Amherst College 72, Farmingdale State 48 — Megan Robertson shot 10 for 10 and finished with 25 points, nine rebounds and four blocks as the Lord Jeffs (13-) won on the road.

Smith College 63, MIT 47 — Rosa Drummond had 18 points and Lauren Weston of Florence added five rebounds for the Pioneers (11-1, 6-0 NEWMAC).

Worcester State 49, Westfield State 48 — Forbasaw Nkamebo of Amherst had 10 points, while Jenny Bell of Northampton added six assists and three steals but the Owls (9-6, 1-1 MSCAC) fell at home.

Elms 67, Lesley 40 — Kelsey Yusko of Hadley had three rebounds and three blocks off the bench in the win for the Blazers (3-7).

Eastern Connecticut 54, UMass Dartmouth 51 — Brianna Leonard of Amherst had 10 points and nine rebounds as the Warriors won at home.

Men’s basketball

Eastern Connecticut 91, UMass Dartmouth 63 — Jake Laga of Northampton had 11 points in the loss for the Corsairs (2-10).
