Amherst Regional’s Piet Hartman shot a 4-over 75 at Wentworth Hill Country Club to tie for eighth at the MIAA Division 1 state golf tournament Monday in Plainville.
Wellesley’s Ryan Keyes fired a 70, one shot under par, to win the individual title.
Northampton qualified as a team after its first sectional title in decades and tied for 10th, shooting a 336. Saint John’s Prep won the team state championship with a 306.
Reilly Fowles led Northampton with a 77, which tied him for 15th. His round was six shots over par.
His older brother, Galen Fowles, tied for 28th (80).
Jack Mattison-Gulotta shot an 88 (T-69th), Ben O’Connor a 91 (T-78th), Evan Yurko a 92 (84th) and Camille Richmond a 101 (T90th).
DIVISION 2 — Hampshire Regional senior Levi Zielinski tied for 48th in the MIAA Div. 2 championship at Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland.
He shot a 14-over 86.
Austin Prep’s Max Hampoin carded a 3-under 69 to take the individual medalist honor.
Bishop Stang’s 305 won the team championship.
