Scouting Carson

Watched Carson Palmer (CIN-QB) on Monday Night Football and it looks like he's pretty much fine. That's pretty incredible considering how late in the season he hurt his knee last year and how much has been written about his mental state.

Anyway, Palmer made all the throws, avoided the rush well and stepped into his throws. Looks like he should be essentially back to normal from the start this season. Good news for owners of the Cincinnati receivers and of Palmer, of course.

Also
New Orleans traded Donte Stallworth (PHI-WR)

From the "Are you serious?" vault, the Raiders signed Jeff George (OAK/retirement home-QB). Are you serious?

T.O. (DAL-WR) has his excuse for being late to practice
. Anyone else just want him to go away?

Kerry Collins (TEN-QB) finally landed
.

Finally, if you think baseball is the only pro league with steroid issues, you're crazy
.

See you Wednesday.

  • I'm ranking Palmer right behind Peyton Manning after that performance.
