Notes for Week 17
If you are finishing up your fantasy season with a championship matchup this weekend, good luck. As we saw with Indianapolis Saturday, who knows how many teams will play their stars and for how long now that a lot of the playoff picture is set. This is why most leagues are settled in Week 16.
Anyway, here's the news for this week. We'll have extras Friday with the column:
The NFL Injury Report will be updated HERE on Wednesday. Keep refreshing the page and it will eventually be updated.
Very suprising news out of Jacksonville has Byron Leftwich (JAX-QB) able to practice this week. But will he play?
Mike Anderson (DEN-RB) will not play this weekend.
I can't imagine we'll see much out of the Indy regulars, considering how little they played last week. Marvin Harrison (IND-WR) and Brandon Stokely (IND-WR) are already out for the game.
LaMont Jordan (OAK-RB) likely won't play this week.
Programming note: Regular column this week followed by regular reactions. We'll have the final column with awards on Jan. 6. I'll have blog updates through the playoffs with breakdowns of each game on Fridays. During the offseason, I'll post updates and links when they seem relevant. I'll also have all sorts of info in the time leading up to the NFL Draft, which I'm hoping to attend. In other words, it'll be worth checking in from time to time during the offseason.
