Extras for Friday, Nov. 18
The trading/free agent deadline is probably closing in for your league, so be sure to have all your backups set in case any starters go down in the playoffs. Don't waste all those weeks of preparation on not having a backup QB.
Looks like Willie Parker (PIT-RB) will start for the Steelers this week. He'll likely share carries with both Duce Staley (PIT-RB) and Jerome Bettis (PIT-RB). While that isn't ideal, you have to figure Pittsburgh will run the ball a bunch because Tommy Maddox (PIT-QB) is starting under center.
With the injury to Cedric Benson (CHI-RB), it looks like Thomas Jones (CHI-RB) will be good to go, but he'll face a good Panthers defense. Use Jones only if needed.
