Celtics F Sullinger arrested on domestic violence charges

WALTHAM — Prosecutors say Boston Celtics forward Jared Sullinger has been arrested on domestic violence related charges.
A spokeswoman for the Middlesex district attorney’s office says Sullinger is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in Waltham District Court.
Police tell the Boston Herald officers were called to Sullinger’s residence over the weekend for a domestic assault call. He was gone by the time they arrived and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Sullinger then turned himself in to police at about 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Police did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press.
Sullinger averaged 6 points and almost 6 rebounds per game in 45 games as a rookie last season.
It was not immediately clear who is lawyer is.
