As he promised shortly after being drafted, Ryan Horstman is about to start his professional baseball career. The Seattle Mariners website reported Monday that Horstman, a left-handed pitcher from South Hadley whom the Mariners took in the fourth round of the First-Year Player Draft earlier this month, had officially signed.
