The Northampton girls track team beat Chicopee Comp 64-30 and Chicopee 61-30 during the early session of the second PVIAC meet Thursday at Smith College. The Blue Devils 4x200 team of Sophie Sharp, Alex Dibrindisi, Sierra Loomis and Abigail Springfield won with over a minute to spare, taking first place in 1 minute, 52.44 seconds, ahead of Amherst Regional (1:53.5). Dibrindisi won the long jump in 15 feet, 111/2 inches, while Loomis won the 300-meter dash in 44.25 seconds for Northampton. Amherst beat Minnechaug 58-36 as the Hurricanes picked up four first-place finishes by Valdimira Fernandes (55 dash), Juliana Brissette (600), Jessie Rietkerk (1,000) and …
