WESTHAMPTON — Hampshire Regional pitcher Brandon Weyant took Friday afternoon’s matchup against Greenfield as a personal challenge. In last year’s meeting, Weyant dueled with former Green Wave star Garrett Hudson and lost 1-0 in eight innings. The junior right-hander allowed a single run again Friday but came out on the winning side of a 4-1 victory. “I wanted this game, ever since last year,” Weyant said. “That was a tough loss (to Hudson), but I’m glad to help my team win today.” “He told me a couple weeks ago when we were setting up the early season rotation that this one was his,” Hampshire coach …
