The Williston football team opened the season with a close win, topping Westminster 35-28 on Saturday. Johnny Aylward led the Wildcats (1-0) to the victory, finishing 14-for-26 for 232 passing yards and four touchdowns. Nick Garofano led the rushing game with 90 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries.
