Wednesday’s prep schools: Williston girls soccer shuts out Kent

Gracie Simpson, of South Hadley, scored in the first half, and Gia Parker, of Amherst, added a goal off a free kick in the second as the Williston Northampton girls soccer team beat Kent 2-0 in Kent, Conn., Wednesday.

Jasmin Movassaghi had an assist, while Olivia Berk-Krauss made four saves for the Wildcats.

Boys soccer

Wilbraham & Monson 6, Williston 1 — Anthony Aquadro (Northampton) scored at the end of the first half, but a 3-1 deficit was too much to overcome in the Wildcats’ loss at home.

Williston 8, Wilbraham & Monson 0 — Catie Laraway had three goals and one assist, while Maddy Jerolman had two goals as the Wildcats won at home.

Julia Valine (Easthampton) scored her first varsity goal in the win.

Boys water polo

Choate 16, Williston 8 — Ian Bowman (South Hadley) had three goals but the Wildcats (4-8) fell at home.
