Noel’s Rendezvous Cafe beats Serio’s Market to win Northampton Little League B Division championship

Noel’s Rendezvous Cafe defeated Serio’s Market 7-1 on Sunday to win Northampton Little League’s B Division championship.

Noel’s, which is sponsored by Lashway Logging, went 5-1 in the double-elimination playoffs.

Noel’s was led by pitchers Tommy O’Connor, Edward Sarafin, Evan Yurko and Trevor Maslowski. Levi Richards, Luke Gaida, Caleb Schmitt, Vinnie Fahey and Max Lockett contributed on defense, while Dillon Moggio, Marty Maslowski, Billy Haber, Drew Michna and Rowan Hodgson led the offense.

For Serio’s Market, Jayden Darling and Cyril Rees-Burton were outstanding on the mound, while Andre Marquis and Logan Tumal were offensive and defensive standouts.

The Northampton 12-and-under All-Stars won the District 2 baseball championship Sunday.

Northampton beat Hadley 10-0 in four innings Saturday. Jordan Washburn threw a one-hitter, while Devin Kellogg, Andy Grygorcewicz and Matt Bouley homered.

Northampton also beat Frontier 13-3 in four innings Saturday. Nolan Zusi threw a one-hitter, while Ryan Long and Kellogg homered.

Hamp beat Frontier 4-2 for the title on Sunday. Kellogg, Nick Heafey and Grygorcewicz combined for the win. Julia McMahon and Long homered.
