Wednesday’s golf: Katy McClaflin of Holyoke Catholic places third in championship

Katy McClaflin of Holyoke Catholic was third and Sienna Hebert of South Hadley fourth as the Western Massachusetts Girls Individual Golf Championship Wednesday at Southampton Country Club.

McClaflin fired an 87. Hebert was one stroke back at 88.

Lisa Calcasola of Longmeadow won her second title with a 75. She finished her career with two titles and two second places.

Danielle Lapierre of St. Joseph was second with a 79.

Kara O’Driscoll (90) missed a top five finish by one shot.

Melissa Iczkowski of Granby shot a 97 and was eighth. Gina Whalen of Northampton was ninth with a 99.
