Harry Kennedy had the lone goal for Smith Academy in Tuesday’s game. On Wednesday, it was Mat Sulda’s turn.

For the second straight day, the Falcons boys soccer team earned a 1-0 victory.

Sulda scored in the 63rd minute as the Falcons (6-1-1) knocked off Palmer in Hatfield.

Sulda’s goal came off a free kick just outside the box on the right side.

Cameron Woodward made eight saves in the shutout, which was the program’s third straight clean sheet.

Kennedy netted the lone goal in Tuesday’s win in Greenfield.

South Hadley 4, Commerce 2 — Ryan Dickinson had two goals and one assist as the Tigers (5-2-2) extended their winning streak to four at home Wednesday.

Dickinson has eight goals and three assists during the streak.

Donte Bottaro and Alex Dragon added a goal, while Nate Flachs was credited with an assist.

Eric Maryea made four saves for South Hadley.

Granby 1, Mahar Regional 0 — Conor O’Shea put in a cross from Dean Marion in the first half as the Rams (3-2-2, 3-1 McGrath North) came away with a win in Orange.

Brett Sullivan made four saves in goal for the victory.

Girls soccer

Holyoke Catholic 3, Turners Falls 0 — Elizabeth Cavanaugh scored a pair of goals as the Gaels (3-4-2) won on the road.

Taylor LeClair added a goal, while Lexi Neffinger, Alexis Carrington and Katherine Zombik were credited with an assist each.

Freshman Mary Roberge led a strong defensive effort in front of goalkeeper Katie Klejna (one save).

Granby 7, Pioneer Regional 0 — The Rams (7-0-1) continued their unbeaten start to the season with a dominant home victory.

Tara Mikalchus scored twice in the win, while Brooke Labrie (assist), Rachel Mick, Megan Bachand, Brittany Hauschild and Hannah Casey each had a goal apiece. Kiley Baran picked up a pair of assists, and Keira Ellard had one.

The only save in the shutout was made by Hauschild, who split time in net with Melissa L’Heroux.

Easthampton 2, Athol 0 — Claire Douglass converted a penalty kick and also had an assist as the Eagles (4-2-1) were victorious at home in the independent matchup.

Molly Cabana scored from Douglass for the insurance tally, and Alyssa Fugiel notched the shutout with five saves.

Girls Volleyball

Belchertown 3, Greenfield 0 — Kim Drawec had four blocks as the Orioles (3-4) cruised on the road 25-15, 25-14, 25-23.

Williston 1, Hotchkiss 0 — Natalia Ovando scored from Ellie Padilla and Sarah Marion of Granby made 10 saves as the Wildcats (2-1-0) pitched a shutout in Easthampton.

Field hockey

Hotchkiss 6, Williston 0 — The Wildcats (2-1-0) allowed six second-half goals in the loss in Lakeville, Conn.

Boys soccer

Williston 0, Pomfret 0 — Bailey Gawron made four saves as the Wildcats (2-0-1) won in Pomfret, Conn.
