Wednesday’s colleges: UMass women’s basketball team falls to Fordham
Carolann Cloutier had 13 points but the University of Massachusetts women’s basketball team fell 69-57 to Fordham in the Bronx, N.Y., Wednesday.
Emily Mital and Jasmine Watson each had 11 points in the loss.
Rashida Timbilla had eight points and 10 rebounds for UMass (3-14, 1-1 Atlantic 10).
Women’s ice hockey
Norwich 2, Amherst 1 — Geneva Lloyd scored, while Ashley Salerno and Courtney Baranek each had one assist but the Lord Jeffs (7-6-1) fell on the road.
Kerri Stuart made 17 saves in the loss.
Men’s squash
Bowdoin 8, Amherst 1 — Max Kardon won but the Lord Jeffs fell in Brunswick, Maine.
Women’s squash
Bowdoin 7, Amherst 2 — Chandler Lusardi and Arielle Lehman each won but the Lord Jeffs fell in Brunswick, Maine.
