If Diogenes  were alive today ...

To the editor:

I am writing to express my appreciation for the guest column by Kevin Lake in which he explores the assumptions and facts about hunting, especially in regard to conservation lands (Gazette, Oct. 9).

It takes the greatest integrity to publicly admit that facts contradict one’s feelings and opinions. If Diogenes were to be resurrected, I’d send him to visit Mr. Lake.
