James. W. Sullivan: Some bicyclists act like they own the streets
To the editor:
Around 6 p.m. on Oct. 1st I was walking my dog across Main/King Street while the walk light was on and a bicyclist came speeding down Main Street at the intersection and almost hit my dog and a pedestrian. This biker had no idea that he could have hurt or killed someone or an animal. I have found the vast majority of bicyclists to be extremely cautious and responsible but there are a small group of cyclists who act like they own the streets and have no idea of the danger they pose for the citizens of our city.
