Walt Krzeminski: Time to stop MLB drug testing

To the editor:

Fans pay billions of dollars to watch the greatest players on earth play. Major League Baseball has a steroid and HGH random, unannounced testing system in place which is virtually foolproof. If the 20 players mentioned in the recent alleged Biogenesis operation and all other players pass baseball’s stringent testing policy week after week, month after month, they are eligible to play. The owners and their aging commissioner should cease and desist with their current and foolish witch hunt, which is being paid for by fans’ money, and let the players play.
