Noreen Beebe: Planned Parenthood’s use a thing of the past
To the editor:
After reading about the budget cuts to Northampton High School arts programs, I began thinking of funding that is being used for less productive programs.
Our state government grants millions of dollars to Planned Parenthood, then also pays for abortions and abortion pills at more than $500 a piece. Many times these services are used repeatedly. This money should be diverted to our education system.
Planned Parenhood’S usefulness is a thing of the past now that all people will have insurance and if you want an abortion you should pay for it yourself, not with tax dollars.
In Massachusetts tax dollars are used for abortions.
Also our local ice cream and coffee dealers could name a product after a school’s art program, instead of an abortion pill that would be creative and productive.
It seems our funding and our tax dollars support activities that are destrutive and ignore creative activities that are productive!
