Gail A. Waterman: Technology could help keep tabs on gun users
To the editor:
With all the modern, sophisticated technology available in the world today, I’m wondering why that technology can’t be applied to a microchip that could be placed in a gun at the time of manufacturing to serve as a tracking device — for more than one purpose.
I can’t help but wonder why this thought/idea hasn’t occurred or surfaced yet — perhaps another feasibility study would prove its worth, wisdom and advantage.
