March for Life coverage has ‘pro-abortion slant’
To the editor:
I was disappointed but not surprised to read the coverage of the March for Life (“Abortion opponents march in DC,” Associated Press, Jan. 26-27). This is a Pro-Life event and yet “abortion” appears eight times, including in the headline, while “life” is used twice.
The second paragraph states, “The annual event took on added significance ... since it coincided with the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.” That decision (Roe) is the reason the March for Life began.
The article seems rather disjointed and has a pro-abortion slant.
