Can politicians find will to make things different?
To the editor:
Perhaps for a few more days we will mourn those precious children and adults who perished so senselessly on Dec. 14. This week, Newtown, Conn., and hopefully at least some parts of the country will collectively memorialize the loss of so many beautiful lives, but then what?
Will it be as per usual, in that the powers that be will mull over it in politically oppositional stances for too long and then it happens again. Or will these tragic losses promptly speed up their action?
Don’t just talk about solutions, find them.
