The first of the two most reputable Championship Subdivisions top 25 - FCS Coaches Poll - was released today and UMass is No. 18.

But somebody picked the Minutemen No. 1. Coaches polls are not public so it's impossible to know who?

I have no idea how good UMass will really be this year. Too many uncertain elements, starting at quarterback. But I'd like to hear the logic of who thought the Minutemen are the best team in the country.
