Draft night blogging
All right I'm back from my honeymoon and ready to blog.
While I was out of the country Tony Gaffney's draft stock seemed to take off considerably and he seems to have a decent shot of getting selected.
I spoke to Tony briefly this afternoon and he seemed excited and content. He felt like he'd done all he could do to help himself and was proud of his effort, but at the same time he was ready for the draft to start to end the suspense.
I have to say it would be an amazing story if he was taken and truly an inspirtational one. When Gaffney arrived at UMass, I looked at his BU numbers and never thought he'd be anything more than a role player and I think Travis Ford may have felt the same way. Instead he shined.
It would finish the story on a fun note if he got drafted.
Here's the link to IMG's blog on his pre-draft progress.
