Maureece Rice Dismissed From GW Men's Basketball Program

WASHINGTON, DC -George Washington University senior Maureece Rice (Philadelphia, PA) has been dismissed from the men's basketball program, GW coach Karl Hobbs announced Thursday. Rice was dismissed for failure to adhere to team rules, according to Hobbs.

This could go one of two ways.
1. GW is coming unglued and Saturday could be easy for UMass.
2. Rice, who has been suspended before this season, is a distraction or
a cancer. His departure is addition by subtraction and GW will play
better.

Rice has had a bad year as GW tried to make him a point guard. I asked
Ford about Rice today and he talked about how he was concerned about
Rice breaking out for a big game.

I imagine this changes the game plan.
