ANNUAL EASTER PARTY: Hadley’s Park and Recreation will hold their Annual Easter Party today from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Hadley Elementary School. There will be pictures with the Easter Bunny, crafts, fun activities and raffles. This event is rain or shine. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and participants should bring a basket to collect eggs.


EGG HUNT: The annual Egg Hunt will take place today at Look Park in Florence. Times are 1 p.m. for ages 2 and under, 1:15 p.m. for ages 3 and 4, 1:30 p.m. for ages 5 and 6, 1:45 p.m. for ages 7 and 8, and 2 p.m. for ages 9 and 10. The event is free and entry into Look Park will be free from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Participants should bring a basket to collect the eggs.


AUTHOR TALK AND DISCUSSION: The Whately Public Library, at 202 Chestnut Plain Road, will present a talk with Sunderland author Saloma Furlong on Tuesday 2 at 6 p.m. Furlong will discuss her memoir “Why I Left the Amish.” This event is free and open to the public, and sponsored by the Whately Cultural Council and the Friends of the Whately Library.
