Ware man pleads guilty to Social Security fraud

BOSTON — A Ware man has pleaded guilty to fraudulently collecting more than $50,000 in Social Security disability payments while working an $80,000-per-year job. Carl Lynch pleaded guilty Thursday in federal court to a charge of theft of public money. Prosecutors say the 43-year-old Lynch began receiving disability payments under Social Security in 2003.
